Stephanie has over 20 years of salon industry experience. She is a master of hair color design and hair styling. She is an expert in haircutting techniques, and has a vast understanding of hair texture and skin tone. She is the Educational Director at in Salon DP LoRana in East Brunswick, NJ, educating her staff to the finest level in hair coloring and cutting skills. Stephanie considers education to be the spice of life in the Salon industry.
Stephanie has educated with superior Joico instructors and designers in the country specifically in LA, Las-Vegas, and Santa Fe to the Artistic Institute in Darien, Connecticut. She has been a part of the Joico team for over 20 years. Since 1990, Stephanie has established her profession with continual education of professional beauty. Her prestige and expertise have earned her the position as a Joico Advisor educating salons in the metropolitan area. In addition, she has participated in over countless hair shows with the preeminent Joico Team. Stephanie attends two intensive training programs bi-annually featuring the newest trends of the seasons collections in hair coloring and hair cutting.
DONNA MCLAUGHLIN
Co-Owner, Style Director
Donna was destined to be in the beauty business as she comes from a long and accomplished line of hairdressers and salon owners. Donna has been a creative professional for over 25 years and has owned other salons previous to Salon D.P. LoRana.
Some of her advanced training has been with such prestigious industry giants as Paul Mitchell, where she focused on dressed hairstyles and trained with Matrix color. She has also trained at Joico, where she gained cutting-edge expertise in color and trends.
She takes personal pride in being a stylist and has a great passion for hair color. Some of her cutting techniques were founded in studies at Vidal Sassoon in South Beach, Florida, such as The Shake! Donna also is an accomplished make-up artist and trained with Matrix, Trucco, and Bert Roth School of Makeup Design in Florida. Donna continues her education annually, and focuses on marrying the color trend with the haircut that complements your most outstanding features!
ANA ALMEIDA
Stylist
Ana is a certified colorist, stylist, and makeup artist who develops relationships with new clients and repeat clientele by providing a comfortable atmosphere and charming them with her friendly personality. She has dedicated herself to her haircutting and color techniques through out the years by attending advanced classes. Continued education enables her to provide clients with the latest trends and styling while continuously redefining the classics. She loves the creative process of combining the two so that they complement each other. Ana has been trained in advanced color and haircutting techniques by Joico & Iso. She has also been trained in Simply Smooth Keratin Smoother, Novalash eyelash extensions, hair extensions, and Bridal and Prom makeup. She has taken advanced classes in makeup provided by Trucco and Mac Cosmetics.
BARBARA RIGBY
Stylist
Barbara Rigby is a stylist with Salon DP Lorana for 6 years who has had extensive training with Joico educators in the latest color and cutting techniques. She also extended her education with classes in NY and NJ with various artists where she also has learned how to create beautiful, romantic and modern bridal looks and updo’s. She incorporates hair extensions when needed as well as being skilled in making custom hair to accommodate the clients’ hair texture and color. Barbara has also had training creating beautiful applications from soft and natural to sultry. While pursuing excellence in her hair techniques, Barbara also has worked for the past 2 years for a well known plastic surgeon in North Jersey performing skin based services such as facials, microdermabrasions, chemical peels, endermology, photo LED light treatments, silk peels, and various other services. Barbara has a passion for not just trying to bring her clients hair to it’s optimal best, but to also help their makeup and skin also be at it’s best. She wants her clients to feel beautiful inside and out and walk out with a smile.
