DONNA MCLAUGHLIN
Owner, Colorist, Style Director
Donna was destined to be in the beauty business as she comes from a long and accomplished line of hair stylists and salon owners. Donna has been a creative professional for over 25 years and has owned other salons previous to Salon DP LoRana. She has owned and operated Salon for the Past 18 years.
Some of her advanced training has been with such prestigious industry giants as Paul Mitchell, Matrix and JOICO. Donna trained for bridal up-dos with Paul Mitchell and advanced color education with Matrix and JOICO.
As color being her passion she works exclusively with JOICO in the salon. JOICO has amazing color tones and amazing shine and human hair keratin in every formula. She takes personal pride in being a stylist as well as in her cutting techniques, which were founded in studies at Vidal Sassoon in South Beach Florida such as “The Shake.”
Donna continues her education annually, and focuses on marrying the color trend with the haircut that complements you most outstanding features!!!
Donna is an accomplished make-up artist who has trained with Matrix, JOICO and Bert Roth School of Make-up Design in Florida.
Salon DP Lorana’s website was recently picked from Arrojo Salon in New York City where only 5 salon’s in the Tri-state area were picked. Donna spent the day with Nick Arrojo and his team. “Nick is such and amazing visionary for the hair industry. Spending the day with Nick inspired me to achieve higher aspirations and much bigger goals for my salon.”
She is currently training with JOICO International to become a color educator so she can bring back the latest hair and color trends to the salon.

After 19 years as a successful salon owner, operator, stylist, mentor she stepped away to join the talented team at Salon DP LoRana.
With over three decades dedicated to the study and practice of hair colour and design Jenn has a deep appreciation and strong feelings about the optimal salon experience.
Jenn is an active, longtime member of many professional organizations including the Congress of Colorists. She has participated in the Hair Colour USA in Miami for the past 15 years, Redken Symposium in Vegas for the past 6 years and Cosmoprof in Bologna, Italy. She had her own talk show in local cable TV that focused on hair care and make-up in the 80’s. Studied with Way Bandy internationally famous make-up artist and became a certified Beauty School Instructor.
Jenn Day is known to her long time dedicated clients as a good listener, an accommodating stylists and welcomes new guests. Jenn is committed to learning and being a good mom to her son Cooper.

ANA ALMEIDA

Ana has been a part of the Salon DP LoRana family for 9 years. She is a certified colorist, stylist, and makeup artist whom develops relationships with new clients and repeat clientele by providing a comfortable atmosphere and charming them with her friendly personality. She has dedicated herself to her styling and color techniques through out the years by attending advanced classes and continuing her education. She loves expressing her creativity through color, cutting, hairstyling, and makeup artistry. Education enables her to provide clients with the latest trends and styling while continuously redefining the classics. She loves the creative process of combining both color and cut so that they compliment each other. Ana has been trained in advanced color and hair cutting techniques by JOICO & ISO. She has also taken a balayage and ombre technique class with celebrity stylist George Papanikolas. She has been certified in the RICCI cut designed for curly hair as well as Simply Smooth Keratin Smoother, Brazilian blowout, La Bella hair extensions, Bonded, Compressed and Tape hair extentions. Bridal up-dos and Bridal makeup is one of her specialties. She has taken advanced classes in makeup artistry provided by TRUCCO and Mac Cosmetics.

Barbara Rigby is a stylist with Salon DP Lorana for many years who has had extensive training with JOICO educators in the latest color and cutting techniques. She also extended her education with classes in NY and NJ with various artists where she also has learned how to create beautiful, romantic and modern bridal looks and updo’s. She incorporates hair extensions when needed as well as being skilled in making custom hair to accommodate the clients’ hair texture and color. Barbara has also had training creating beautiful applications from soft and natural to sultry. While pursuing excellence in her hair techniques, Barbara also has worked for the past 2 years for a well known plastic surgeon in North Jersey performing skin based services such as facials, microdermabrasions, chemical peels, endermology, photo LED light treatments, silk peels, and various other services. Barbara has a passion for not just trying to bring her clients hair to it’s optimal best, but to also help their makeup and skin also be at it’s best. She wants her clients to feel beautiful inside and out and walk out with a smile.
